The track blends the popular disco and funk sounds of the late '70s while incorporating the growing popularity of rap and hip-hop and remains a quirky addition to Pickett's spooky legacy. The b-side features Edgar Winter's ""Frankenstein,"" which blends elements of progressive rock, blues, and jazz fusion, creating a dramatic and otherworldly sound.
