The Ensemble Concerto Koln embark on a journey into the Baroque era and present Violin Concertos by Corelli, Somis, Valentini, Mascitti, Vivaldi. For the recording they are accompanied by the excellent Russian violinist Evgeni Sviridov.Arcangelo Corelli, who lived and died in Rome, is considered a typical representative of classical Italian violin music and, as such, had a strong influence on all his younger contemporaries, whose works can be heard on this album.
