Originally released in 1969 on the Canyon label, Southern soul singer Doris Duke's hard to find I'm a Loser is now considered by many to be the greatest deep soul album of all time. The Stax-inspired 12-track collection was recorded in Macon, Georgia with the enigmatic Jerry Williams Jr. aka Swamp Dogg producing and features two tracks with the great Duane Allman on guitar.
