The album comes less than 18 months after the release of their debut album Dogrel. Fontaines D.C. formed in Dublin, Ireland in 2017. Their critically acclaimed debut album, Dogrel won Album of the Year 2019 from both Rough Trade and BBC Radio 6 Music.
